asphaleia training has a learning centre in West Sussex offering further education for 16-19 year-olds. We offer employability, maths, English, digital skills, and career development.

why learn with us?

​​​1. we help young people to achieve

Regardless of a young person's previous history in education, we work to provide them with opportunities that will help them achieve their goals. We offer functional skills English and maths qualifications, employability skills, and careers advice to young people aged 16-18 who are living in West Sussex.

We also offer ESOL to young people who don't speak English as their first language. Our ESOL students can gain functional skills qualifications and employability skills before moving onto college. ​​

2. you can join us throughout the year

Our core employability programme runs across the whole year and you can enrol at any time. It is a pre-vocational option that enables you to gain the qualifications and skills you need to then start college, or a training programme in September. â€‹â€‹

4. build your soft skills with asphaleia

Preparing for the world of work isn’t just about qualifications. Part of gaining experience for life and work is all about soft skills, like confidence, communication, teamwork, independence, and much more. It is a unique part of our programmes here to help young people to build these skills and qualities alongside formal achievement.
