Job Title: Education, Employment and Training Advisor (Make Trax)
Salary: £18,000
Location: Uxbridge, West London or Worthing, West Sussex

Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an Education, Employment and Training Advisor based in Worthing, West Sussex to join our team.

Make Trax aims to improve employment outcomes for NEET and at risk of NEET young people aged 16-24 through skills development and work preparation support.

The Make Trax Advisor will:
• Engage NEET and at risk of NEET young people facing barriers to accessing learning or employment
• Plan, develop and deliver work preparation activities to help participants prepare for work, such as group workshops, 1:1 mentoring, workplace visits and employer projects
• Build relationships with local employers and training providers to secure work placements and signpost participants to current vacancies, apprenticeships and other educational provision
• Coordinate project data and information systems and be responsible for recording and reporting on project progress internally and to funding bodies
Make Trax is delivered in partnership with Barnardos, with funding from the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund.

The position would suit someone able to work on their own initiative and who wants to grow and develop. Some experience of working with NEET or at risk of NEET young people is desirable.

The position is offered on an initial one year contract with the possibility of extension until 2019.
